THE MV ACADEMY
CLASSICAL TRAINING
Classical ballet underpins all of our training at MV Academy. From their very first class, our pupils train in RAD ballet, building strong technique, musicality and artistry that carries into every style they dance. Their progress is monitored through examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance, a world-recognised exam board, and the higher grades also carry UCAS points for university applications.
RAD BALLET
RAD ballet classes and exams for every age, from our youngest dancers to seniors.
Pupils build strong technique, musicality and artistry from their very first class, and work towards Royal Academy of Dance exams at their own pace.
Ballet underpins all of our training, and it carries into every style our pupils dance, from jazz and lyrical to musical theatre.
KICKS, LEAPS & TURNS
A technique class focused on extensions, jumps and pirouettes.
Pupils develop the strength, flexibility and control needed for clean turns, high extensions and powerful leaps, building on the foundations of their ballet training.
Kicks, Leaps & Turns runs on Fridays and suits pupils who want to push their classical technique further.
COMPETE & AUDITION
Our classical competition team brings together ballet and lyrical soloists and groups who compete nationally and internationally.
We also prepare pupils for auditions for associate programmes, vocational ballet schools and summer intensives, with one-to-one coaching from our faculty.
